Statistically speaking, the chances that there is life elsewhere in the universe is guaranteed. Chances of intelligent life is virtually guaranteed. Jupiter gives off enough energy because its so big it can make the moons around it support life, but since none of the moons besides Titan have the correct conditions, that leaves it allll up to Titan.
