Do you like to be spontaneous, or do you like to be predictable? What drives people to be spontaneous? Does spontaneity usually do its job, or is it usually a wasted effort?
Sometimes I have spontaneous outbursts of ambition. Sometimes I just like to mix things up.
It is my belief that, perhaps, true unpredictability is only acheived in 'predictable' circumstances. Is deviation from a standard pattern more unpredictable than traditional chaos?

Im spontaneous..But nly if I feel the time is right.
Kind of an oxymoron..but it makes some sense.
If the time calls for random beeping noises at Dylans to break tension or silence, so be it.
If im at school and 2 girls are fighting, a group hug can quell that right away.
But my spontanaety is quite predictable...which disturbs me.

Power to you if you can get between two sweaty girls and make them forget their anger.
Look out though, girl fights aren't as controllable as male brawls. Can't hold back a person with 'claws' very well.

Im not assuming I would do it...Im saying I do it.
If one of the girls is my friend, and fighting with anotehr girl, a Giant hug confuses them both.
It usually stops the fighting.

I'm spontanious sometimes. It's almost always done for a laugh. Or sometimes I just have a really intense emotion or mood that hits me all at once, and I immediatly act upon it without thinking.

Well, that depends. Normally I am very predictable, but I will occasionally (and by occasionally, I mean a very very rare occasion) I will do something that surprises people.
Occasionally.

I used to be a predictable sob, but now I've mixed it up a lot.
I'll be predictable when it's time to be married. For now, it's time to have fun.

I like to be spontaneous. Being spotaneous has brought me to a level that could never be achieved by being predicatable.

I use to like to be.. well off beat I guess...
I've done it so often and so long.. I've become as my friends would say predictably unpredictable.. so to throw them a curve next semester, I'm going to become.. normally predictable..

Most of my spontaneity will involve random sentences (usually rude/gross/something involving sexual organs) falling from my mouth. For example, my friends and I are at one of their houses and right before his mom comes in I say something like, "and that's when her penis fell off" and see what happens. I've been known to do a merry jig every so often and click heels while walking down the street at 1am which is a habbit now. Peeing in odd places and singing will recieve more attention once old material gets...well old.
I do it for the laughs :)

True spontaneity should be out of character =p

i dont know if im spontaneous......but im definately random...i have a very very short attention span...so i tend to do and think multiple things while listening or chatting wiht ppl...and sometimes i blurt/do random things...i dont think im predictable....happydude is ;) ....at this very moment...*happydude thinking : SHUt up! no im not!~*......;) i can even anticipate (almost) every reaction he makes to certain things in detail

I couldn't agree with that more.
I would say I'm spontaneous but the things that I do to make me spontaneous I do on a regular basis sort of. There is the odd thing though.

People have said that one of my characteristics is being funny and random so I guess I am truely Spontaneous by that definition.

By out of character, I meant "set apart from normal" rather than "a part of your character."
Spontaneous Combustion is a good example of true spontaneity. Suicide Bombers are not.

Because the suicide bombers explosions are premeditated. Would someone standing beside the bomber who exploded, could there explosion be spontaneous? It's out of character.

That's how I am. I am predictable by most, but I have my random moments, and the looks I get from people are priceless. They don't expect it because I'm normally so predictable.
