Yes, even the Mods need help sometimes. I want to create a TrueType(TT) font for my PC, but I don't know how. Is there a special program you need? How much does it cost, are there free creation programs?

Any help woulds be appreciated, I want to create a "Star Trek" TT Font, with the lettering used on the Ships, but I need to know how to do this.

Thank you in advance,
~Cyrax~

Well if you have some (OK, a TON) of "Star Trek" ship toys like I do, and they always have peeling stickers, you probably want to make your own replacements, since the company no longer produces the toy, and a new company has the lisence to produce them. I have a bunch of Toy ships that have peeling Decal stickers, and I want to fix them, but I have no way of making new ones. It also looks cool when you design futuristic fonts, I used to have an alphabet from a PC/Game Boy game, "Commander Keen" in TT Font. It was called the Standard Galactic Alphabet, and had wacky symbols from the iD software game, the file was called "SGA.ttf" I belive, the suffix was .ttf at least for true type fonts.

I too would like to take part in font-making. I believe we need a program. I'm guessing they aren't free though. Checkout www.download.com and see what you can find there.

Thanks Gamemaster! i'll check it soon, I just shelled out money on a new $40 watch, a $50 phone which was broken when I bought it, so I have to return it, and get a replacement, Some pants that my mom payed for, and I went to a KMart for the liquidation sale, and manged to pick up a copy of "MUsic Inspired By Final Fantasy" for a mere $6.00,because of the liquidation, the CD is great, but it's not the orginal artists, instead it's all orchestrated, but it sounds great, maybe I'll rip some MP3's from it.
