I thought about having a nice introduction paragraph talking about the true meaning of Christmas, making it seem like love and giving, and then revealing it as really presents. However, I decided that was cliche and that my time would be better spent explaining about this thought process.
So, to cut to the entire point of the thread:
What'd you get for Christmas (PC Note: Or any other form of holiday, religious or secular; not meant to segregate against any who do not perform ritual festivities during this period of time)?
I got...
For the Christmas Eve present my mom allows my brother and I to open (more to just shut my brother up), I received Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
It is groovy.
For Christmas at home I received:
Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam DVD Box Set
New stereo
Little clock thing
Kiki's Delivery Service on DVD (the only Miyazaki film I don't have on DVD [that has been released in the US on DVD, of course])
Tiger Calendar
$50 from my maternal grandmother
$50 from my maternal grandather
$50 Best Buy gift card thing from dad
For Christmas at paternal grandmother's I received:
$25 from my aunt (I like her most out of paternal side of family)
A long sleeve shirt thing from my paternal grandmother, a hoodie from my grandmother, and an electric windshield scraper from my grandmother.
Yeah, I don't really talk to her much.
O_o
So, anyway....
*shrugs and walks away*

$10 from aunt and uncle
$25 from aunt
and a random box of incense stuff...
...
...
Although apparently my mom is gonna get me a best buy gift card she didn't get around to buying... And my grandma some cash which she didn't get around to withdrawing from the bank...

I'll tell you what I didn't get. The new car I wanted, the new TV, stereo, game, phone,.... Okay so I didn't get much. I guess as you grow older you start getting less and start giving out more. Thats just how it goes. You have to buy your nephews this, your neices that, little brother this, little sister that, mom this, dad that. Its cool though, I don't expect to get anything, as long as I can give to others and make them happy, I'll live with that.

I got way more than I had expected. A new graphics card and an iPod were the really big ones. Other than that I got the Homestar Runner DVD's, the M3 Power razor (freaking incredible - seriously), and some other personal grooming stuff. Oh, and a new wallet.
I got a Nokia 3220, which I love to death, gawd.

It's a video phone. And everyone who says it has bad reception is wrong - this phone has no problem with reception at all. I've used it quite a bit. It's really, really small, but the grips on the side make it really easy to hold. The buttons are also great on it. I've read a ton of reviews, and they all love it.
Also, it looks sweet in the dark when somebody phones you. The grips light up with different colours and everything. It's like a freaking light show.

I also got Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Metal Gear Solid 3, and Burnout 3. Oh, and $300.

I didn't get much because I didn't ask for much. I have a job and I basically buy myself whatever I want, so I didn't have anything to ask for.
I also got a new phone but I dont have pics for it you can google it.. SONY ERICSSON Z200. But i bought it myself...
The only thing I got for christmas was $50 from my aunt & uncle and a wallet.
But I bought myself like 5 new games within 2 months.. so didn't need much...
I also got a new phone but I dont have pics for it you can google it.. SONY ERICSSON Z200. But i bought it myself...
That's a pretty good phone. It's easy on the eyes, but when I tried my friend's, the buttons were frustrating to press. My friend also complains that it's extremely slow the more you fill the memory up with notes and numbers.. bleh.
If I got a Sony-Ericsson, I'd get the Sony Ericsson T630. It's pretty hot. But I still love my Nokia 3220 to death.
