Kind of a sad day for torrent people. www.torrentbits.org and www.suprnova.org took themselves offline to avoid any legal matter as the lawsuits are starting to come to some torrent sites. :(
I think some of the mirror sites for suprnova.org are still up. kinda sucks cuz there was a couple links to some old tv show episodes i wanted to see. lol
other then that i never used that site anyway. so easy come easy go :P
i had read a while ago tho that suprnova is involved in the creation of a new type of bittorrent, one that doesnt require a site to host links and apparently is much faster
but..eh, i dont really like bit torrents much. never seen one go very fast.

Bittorrent technology for World of Warcraft (downloading the Beta) is terribly slow. Also, the upload us usually higher than the download! But now I have a upload limiter, so that should work.
Never used torrent. :)
I only downloaded a couple CDs from them.
There's a gaggle of other torrent sites, but this one will be missed.

the website is now suprnova.com and its a pay site but it seems pretty dirt cheap considering all of the content thats on there... 29.95 for 2 year servive or like 34 for unlimited...

its coming. ;)
Check out the suprnova.org hompage now...
Major announcing coming today. right now its known as eXeem. a decentralized form of bittorrent.
http://www.slyck.com/news.php?story=631
Slyck first reported on eXeem earlier this month. eXeem is reported to be a decentralized version of BitTorrent - a network where centralized trackers do not exist. At this time, insufficient documentation exists regarding the network or the project, however many have debated whether the new decentralized network can even call itself BitTorrent. Time will settle that debate.

And well that was about it.. no more use for Shareaze..
and well I use to get insane speeds.. fastest I got was 1.42 MB/sec.. think I took a pic.. but it's on the comp at school.

I use Ares as well.. well Ares Lite now... but it doesn't offer as much as Suprnova in the way of cartoons. Ares is more for music/movies type deal since I can watch them then.
