Seriously Nintendo, stop abusing your franchises! Even myself, a loyal Nintendo fanboy, am getting sick of Nintendo putting Mario into anything they can.

Next you know, they'll make a deal with Capcom so that Mario can be in the next Resident Evil.

The reason link did well in Soul Caliber is because he's a badass... mario isn't a badass... nintendo needs to make more franchises... with badasses...

samus is a bad ass.. but i can't see her doing much as far as basketball goes...

Speaking of which, I remember hearing that Miyamoto was in cahoots with EA for a while. Maybe he wanted something like this.

It's not too bad. I can't wait to see how he'll be modeled compared to the other players.

Mario likes to wack balls with oversized clubs. :p

Samus could use her gun-arm-thing to use as one of those trick things.

I've seen a video for NBA Street Vol. 3, and the people look very realistic. I wouldn't be amazed if they just put mario clothes on some random white guy. Or they will thug Mario up. (I'd love to see that, anyone up to the photoshop challenge?)

The novelty of Mario in video games has worn of, really after the N64 was replaced with the Gamecube. Sure, Mario Kart was fun, and so was Mario Party, but that was because both games had the whole Mario-feel to them. Games like Mario Golf, and the proposed and future "Mario Baseball" might be fun, but I'd rather just play a real golf or baseball game. Sorry Nintendo, your franchise games are fun, but I don't need Mario Baseball taking over my Baseball games. =/

I mean, where the hell am I going to be without my badass pitching roster?
