I just saw on CNN, and I went to IGN to confirm the news. The Sony Playstation 2 Network Adaptor will be available in August, and will be sold for $39.99! This is a much lower price than most people were expecting.

This is a great announcement from Sony... And I can't wait until August. Looks like we'll get half of the summer to play online! Yes!

$40 isn't lower than what was expected...they said the modem would cost about $40 about 10 months ago...

I wonder what games will be online in August...

$40 is exactly what was expected, no surprise there.

Now I just want to see the U.S. price of the hard drive. ;)

if the HDD is $100, I'm not buying it...

I realize that...

and what's with the smile?

But if more and more people complain about that price, Sony will sell it for less...they're not stupid, you know...

Thats cool. But I'm gonna wait until FFXI comes out to buy it.

I'm pretty sure that Twisted Metal Black: Online and that Socom Us Navy Seals thing will be the first games to go online, followed by Final Fantasy XI a few months later.
