And to think, they were once on top of the world with Turok......

No one said the video game business was an easy ride...

When we don't give 100% effort to something, this is the price we pay. Maybe next time, you'll try a little harder. I hope lessons were learned.

Lol. Turok was one of the worst conceived First Person Shooters ever made. It makes EA look golden.

Considering when Quake came out compared to Turok......Turok was a pathetic offering.

Although the sidescrolling Turoks for the Game Boy where fun.

Never liked Turok... .I do remember that Acclaim's WWF games on the N64 sold for $94.99... as opposed to the usual $79.99.

Acclaim has always blown chunks.

Chunks the size of games.

All of their games have always sucked.

Now, I admit, I liked Turok. And Turok 2. And all the others...not alot, but I liked them. But back when I liked wrestling, their games were the absolute worst.

Compare an Acclaim wrestling game to WCW vs NWO Revenge,....no contest.

Does the building come with the "****ty games making machine"?

QBclub 98 was fun, but wasn't 99 the one where they put in that ****ty "you have to push a button to catch" mechanic?

Okay, but when I turn you into pudding with my BFG9000, you'll regret every pulling out your stone age piece of wood and string.

Oh, and my Quake could go online for 8+ person multiplayer. :P

98 was the bomb... you could always do a slant left, and then run your quarterback right, and always score a TD... in 99 they made it so that when the QB crosses the line of scrimmage, he automatically slows down to a crawl..... heh, 2000 sucked the big fat hairy one.

Turok 1 was great. :D The mood was awesome. I didn't mind the mist. But because of the low frame rate (I guess), it made you feel sick. :green:

Never interested in any other Acclaim games...

Well it was bound to happen, with all the law suits and the medicore to bad games they were putting out....they were in a similar situation in the N64 era, but back then Turok bailed them out and put them back in the game. I am sorry to hear they're being auctioned out, they made some good games like Xtreme G, Turok, but they also made Nes games like Double dragons, and a whole lot of games (can't rememver all right now) that bring back good memories. *sigh*
