If that were real, Canada would be a smoldering crater right now. Nothing like that would ever happen, especially considering the fact that Canada relies on the US for 80% of its economy.

You make me sick. Anybody who could honestly say that and have no problem with it disgusts me. If it were Canada waging this war and not us - and we thought their leader had committed war crimes, and we were holding him hostage - would you still be okay with it if they turned us into a smoldering crater? Killing a bunch of innocents in a foolish vendetta?

Indeed. I was very fooled though for a minute. I was at first pleased that he might see the unhappiness he's caused first hand; and then terrified as to what it could do to our Country and the World if we were plunged into a battle with our northern allies.

It's a great copy of the real CNN. Two thumbs up! :)

Their used to be a site where people could enter information and a picture and it would create a cnn page and it looked exactly identical too. Good for fooling friends.

Mariolover... ever hear of hyperbole? You should look into it instead of taking every opportunity you have to blow whatever I say out of proportion because of you personal dislike for me.

Of course we wouldn't turn Canada into a crater, but you better believe that our armed forces would be on high alert and if he wasn't returned to us therev would be reprocussions. To think differently is naive and foolish.

And yes, to answer your question, if we were holding another country's leader HOSTAGE for "war crimes" I would fully expect for them to respond violently if they had the means. Its common sense. You don't kidnap a powerful country's leader and then expect them to just go along with it. Would you expect them to? Of course not. No one thinking logically would think they would.

But then again your worrying too much about attacking me to think logically right now. Next time, calm down and think before you post.

considering the fact that Canada relies on the US for 80% of its economy.

it's that high? hmmm

where'd you get that number? i thought it was lower, but I could easily be wrong

Professor S

I took the number from a talk radio host. If I remember correctly I think it was Sean Hannity...

Yeah, so disregard that number :P :D

Canada does rely heavily on the US for its economy, though, so I'm sure that a good relationship with the US is always in their best interest. Actually, I'm kind of curious about this now. I'm off to Google...

... and I'm back. I wasn't able to find a total percentile for Canada's economic dependence on the US, but I was able to find this:

Our trade surplus alone with the United States equals about 10 percent of the Canadian economy and our U.S. exports total well over a quarter of our economy,” McMahon continued.

http://www.fraserinstitute.ca/shared/readmore.asp?sNav=nr&id=630

If 25% (35% when you add the trade surplus) of the Canadian economy is just from exports to the US, that 80% total figure may not be far off.

Thats 50% off.....that seems far off to me....heh.

And all i know, is the Canadian Dollar is at about $0.80 to the American dollar.

I understand the majority of you don't like bush, so MOVE TO CANADA, no offense to the canadians, Jonbo move just get the F* out. I mean how can your turn your back on your own countrys leader ? Sure he might not be right all the time but who is ? Your just against this war, AS AM I but I support any decision he might make because I voted for him as did the majority of america.

I mean you all bitch and moan like it's you fighting on the front lines, Your all like our boys are dying for oil.. **** that were fighting for another cause... If the commanding general thought that this war was a bad idea he can state an Illegal order and disobey
but he would go under a courtmarshal, BUT you all need to quit bashing bush.... It's seriously getting stupid at this point...

Oh and jonbo if you want to move to canada I'll help you F*ing pack. POS

Alright now, timeout. It's fine to express opinion but I can't allow direct name calling like that. It's against GameTavern conduct.

Besides that, indirect name calling is funner because what you say can be very creative and you can't get in trouble for it.

So, let's please refrain from turning this innocent prank into heated rage.

Consider yourself: Warn'd! ;)

Ok, carry on.

Ok.

He can do what he pleases.

He can not like Bush. Its his opinion and choice. He can "turn his back" on your leader because he doesnt share the same views.

And as for the "move to Canada" thing.
Thats getting as old as "Bashing Bush"

Why not Mexico? England? Any other country seems plausable to me.
