I was thinking about getting my dad a GBA since he travels a lot, but he's not really what one would call a "gamer." At all. Any ideas on what games would be good?

Get some classics like a good Tetris and an original Mario game. Maybe some other good classics or puzzlers if he is into that. I wouldn't get anything that requires storytelling, because in my experience, non-gamers don't care about storylines when they play, but more on just playing.

Yeah, I'd reccommend puzzle types. Maybe a sport title if he's at all interested in sports. It's risky though, sport games on handhelds aren't very good I think. Strategy type games like Advance Wars might also be enjoyed. It depends on how well your dad would be able to understand it.

Could get one of those card game collections. Or something along the lines of chess.

Danny!!!! :p How's our old veggie?

Wouldn't a dad like something like Harvest Moon???
You'll have to test if he likes puzzle games...

Hehe, me too. I have a girlfriend now, she's vegetarian too. It's really amazing that we met eachother. Anyway, I don't think others like us chatting here. :sneaky:

Ehm, did I already say that he might like Harvest Moon??
Or a racing game!!! Dads like racing... :)
