My TV was messed up. It's not mine, it's my house ladys, so I don't have the manual.
Whenever I turned it on, the sound was extremely loud. So I'd have to switch to an empty channel to turn the volume down.
I had no idea how to change it, since it's an old TV (at least 15 years old I'd say).
So I looked up the model code, googled it and found the [url=http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/2/24ce3271/24ce3271_dfu_nld.pdf]manual /url] online. :D Even in Dutch.
Internet is great. :p
So, what have you used it for? And please, don't say porn. It destroys families, like my mothers.
I've used it for University stuff. A friend of mine told me about her accounts of registering for school through something called Telereg. Yes, it's hundreds/thousands of students using a phoneline to sign up for courses. It doesn't sound fun waiting for hours on end. Internet registration is so awesome.

I use the internet for everything.
Like, every possible thing I want to do at a certain moment, as in things I want to know.
I listen to alot of music all the time, so the Internet helps me find lyrics, song names and CD titles.
Plus I can listen to my radio station on the internet.
Hooray for the internet.

I don't use the internet for pr0n :sneaky:.
The Internet is probably my most valuable tool. It's changed the way people share media, forever. It's revolutionized the way we get media, and watch it. I download movies, music, TV shows, video games......just about everything....
I use the Internet for music information, lyrics, and songs. I also use the Internet for gaming information.
I use the Internet to find random information to....I use google, and sometimes I'll go to a forum.
Don't worry Canyarion! Porn came in second, not first last year as the main reason why people use the Internet. I think shopping or business came in first last year. ;)
That's right, shopping for pron.
But I use the iternet for commuinication mostly. You can meet so many great people over the internet.

I've used it for just about every aspect of school. From report information, to checking my assigments, to language translation sites, how to make proper bilbiogrpahies, etc...
Even for reports that required book sources, I wouldn't actually ever check any books out I would just find books online that pertained to my topic and copy their information down, lol.
I generally stopped using libraries probably in middle school. So as an education aid or resource, the internet is wonderful. Especially for a student who procrastinates. :)
Another greatly valued use includes online shopping. I'm able to get many items and products through the internet that would otherwise not be directly available to me. Sometime purchasing through this system is cheaper than through actual store retail or mail order.
One final use that has played big in my internet experience is the exploration of music. Because of the internet, I've discovered many musicians and groups that I like and may have not otherwise discovered. Through the use of the search engine, I've also been able to identify several songs that I liked but never knew the titles of.

Playing Games.
Guilty Gear on Live may be laggy and slow, but I love it.
Also Online shopping, and getting a daily laugh, normally provided by you folks and your crazy videos/jokes/anything else that randomly pops up.

You're creeping me out Happydudette, lol.
Things I do on the internet:
- Listen to the radio
- Bank
- communication
- learn
- research
- entertainment
- stalk people
wait....scratch that last one....
Mainly for research as I just can't be bothered going through huge textbooks looking for one tiny detail when Ctrl+F works just as well..
For communication with family and friends back home, my coursemates (MSN is soooo handy when it comes to those 'eh-when-is-the-due-date-for-that-statistics-assignment' moments) and also, meeting new people. I am alone most of the time and talking to strangers is probably the best form of therapy I've ever experienced... lol...
And of course, my playlist. There you go.
No, I don't do the whole luring little boys through the internet thingy. I stick to giving them candies... especially little boys with blonde floppy hair.
I'm a traditionalist. ;)

Number one: Yes, I am lonely. For now.
Number two: Yes, I like big boys too. Not necessarily blonde and floppy-haired though. Nick Carter comes to mind. *shudder*
