Really sorry to hear that :( I hope she makes a full recovery...

The Golden Retriver is one of the most beautiful breed of dogs, IMHO...

:( ..... I'm so sorry man.... Is it really serious?? Sometimes they can give medicines, or remove the tumor...

We lost our dog due to cancer... but she was already pretty old. I was 12 at that time, she had been with me my whole life.

Perhaps it's cliché, but if she dies: I found a lot of comfort in this: Sandy has lived a great life with you.

Really, deeply sorry to hear that. :( I remember my one and only dog got sick before he died, so the acceptance process was a little harder, and more spread out. I don't think I've ever cried so much.

Let's hope she lives! She's got plenty of life left to live.

thank you everyone. your thoughts are appreciated dearly. she got home from testing about 3 hours ago...and I've had trouble being around her without breaking down a little. why does a being so sweet and innocent, so kind and meaningful, so young and selfless have to go through things like this?

I for one know that 'lifes not fair' but things like this just seem...I dunno...completely unnecessary? This is the kinda situation where I'll look for justification, and find it nowhere. And what comes after that? rage.

This will be in my prayers. I hope everything works out for its best, man.

I'll pray about this stu. I'd be pretty down and out if my cat was diagnosed with cancer. I hope everything works out.

My girlfriend has cancer, and her dog, Pixie, died from it too. Best of luck to you and your pooch.

Argh, I'm sorry. :(
But remember, she had a good life. A lot of dogs don't get a life half as good as hers...

She had the best possible friend in you, stu. I'm sure she was thinking of you in her final moments.

Were you there when she died, Stu? I'm really sorry she didn't pull through. Rest with comfort though, knowing that she's now in a better place with no pain or disease.

I'm so sorry to hear that stu :(

My dog Toto has been in the vet for the past 5 days so I slightly know how you feel. He's gotten better though.

RIP Sandy
