Heya all...
Been lurking around a fair bit for a while (under the alias of DuMdEeDuMmM) but never really posted. Had to start a new account because being the retard that I am, I lost my password... I know I can retrive it but well, I think it's time for a new handle... :D (No, I promise you that I am not running away from the government/law/mother-in-law)
Anyway, thank you for your time and hope that I'll continue to entertain all of you with my lameness.
Cheers!
:wave2: ---> this little bugger is so cute! heh...
Oh yeah, special hellos to Happydude and Happygirl666 :)

Hello, Wlecome to the boards, Remember, There are many nice elephants in China, and they all know your name.
Hahah, right. Well, here are some unanswered questions about me:
Why did Happydude and Happygirl get special hellos?
...because I've known Happygirl666 for the past 13 years of my life.
Why is my name 'Yan'?
...because it is my name (I can hear you yawn :D ) and yes, dropCGCF, I've been called that...
Am I a secret agent?
I wish. At least it'll be less boring then sitting in a Physics lecture taking down notes...
What's one thing that everyone should know about you?
That I can't ride a bike. Good, now the whole world knows. I'm your resident bike retard.
Guess that's enough for now?

Once, In grade 7....I was riding this kids bike, and I rode into the back of a parked car and screwed up my arm pretty bad. To be fair, I was having a duel with the kid on the bike next tp me with sticks...so i wasnt watching. It hurt. I was goin pretty fast, then all of a sudden BAM!!! I get a face full of Volvo.

Incorrect. I have actually learned how to ride a bike, and then forgotten afterwards, which is supposed to be impossible (or something).
Thus, I am more bicycly challenged than thou.

Well, what I've learned from school is that when directly translated, it means, "Hello unmarried lady, how are you?"

Ah... Okay...
I did a search on Babel and 'como estas' came up as 'like these'... So I was like :wtf: ?
I'm doing alright, thanks :)

Want to tell us about your avatar?
About the avatar... It's just some random pic that I found and I've been using as my MSN pic as well... I am somewhat turning into a Simpsons addict as I have never watched it before coming to Australia (was originally from Malaysia) because it was never on air in my home country. I now realise what I have been missing though and I have heaps of catching up to do... Heh.

Hes a quote/bot thing for all of our amusement.

Haha... I don't know really... The funny thing is, I don't even play games (tried playing Tomb Raider agesss ago. Gave me severe headache so had to stop).
Just that I enjoy being in a forum environment (I'm on 3 and counting :D) so maybe that's why I'm here. Plus, I've heard heaps of good things so I am just checking this place out.

While you may be able to participate actively in conversation (and I know the guys love having girls around, well, maybe) ... it may become difficult to participate in the general love for all that is gaming that can seep throughout the board. Good luck on your endeavors.

Well I have a parked car story that I feel like sharing.
When I was like 6, it was the middle of winter and my brother and I used to sled everyday on a hill near our house. The Hill faced a street so some parents were usually there to stop us or we just rolled off by ourselfs.
Well one day, my brother and I had the whole hill to ourselves. He went first, blazed down and turned at the bottom to fall out and stop. My turn came up and I rode just as fast. I had never gone that fast and was too amazed with the speed to think about stopping. I flew off the curb, slid straight across the street, and stopped completely under a parked car. Good times :)
Welcome Yan! Enjoy this place! You either love it or hate it... :D
And here's a somewhat bicycle-related story:
I was riding my bike down a hill, and losing control, I went down the sidewalk, onto the road. Still not being able to regain control, I hit the sidewalk across the road. Flying into the air, I...hit a wall head on, badly hurting my wrist (and head).
2 weeks pass, and my wrist still hurts a little. Then, while playing football as a goalie, I step on the ball and fall on my bad wrist. I go see a doctor, and he says that it'll be fine. The next day, playing football again, I score a goal, and trip over my cousin who's celebrating. Fall on my bad wrist. I go to a hospital to find that I've been living with a broken wrist for 2 weeks.
*Waits for people to say that this isn't bicycle related*

That's not a story about a bicycle. That's a story about a wrist.
I don't really have any good bicycle stories. The only thing that I can think of that might be interesting is that I liked to ride my old Huffy mountain bike off road a lot. Anyway, after about 4 years of this, the chain just plain snapped along with the s-gears.
Anybody else ever destroy their bike?

Welcome!
Actually I didn't read the whole thread so I don't know why we're telling bycicle stories, but I have a couple.
I cycled down a hill and managed to hit THE ONLY POLE ON THE WHOLE HILL!! I landed with my cross on the steer, which is, believe me, VERY painful. :)
Oh yeah, I fall once every winter when it's icy and nobody told me. :(
A guy I know had a GREAT bycible story, about how 1 broke down, his other one got stolen, he borrowed one, got a new one, some stranger put a lock on that one so they had to saw it off, a few days later the lock was all messed up.
You had to love how he told it, it was just great. :D
