Police said Mancini told them that Jesus sacrificed himself for her, so she was going to sacrifice the boys to free her soul.

Do you believe the cause of this can be blamed on religion and that it's influence on people is too much? Or is it simply the woman's mental health?

I think it's funny.

"The good lord told me to kill my child! Don't arrest me!"

Our society is so backwards.

You know, it's easier for me to type, " I would go with mental health issues" then it is to type "i wud go wif mental health issues."

Webster must be rolling in his grave thanks to the Internet.

The Lord does not want human sacrifices, so this couple is messed up.

She never said God told her to do it.

She said Jesus died for our sins, so she will sacrifice her children to free her soul.

Reading and not assuming things is fun

*Realizes the slight irony*

I read it. I just took things out of context to make the first part of my post seem more humorous.

well, either the woman is crazy, her boyfriend is crazy, they're both crazy......or maybe...the children forced them to do it :sneaky:

That's what they get for not reading the bible. One could sit down and read the bible from start to end and find out that human sacrifices are frowned upon within 5-10 minutes.

they're slightly more than frowned upon

I dont pretend to know the bible cover to cover, nor claim to be religious. I support the Christian faith, it's just sad that religion has caused so much hardship throughout (consistently, too) the history of man
