Well, I have just started seeing the commercials for it. Who knows how it will do. I think people might go for it, especially since it is backwards compatible, and it is Nintendo.

And also, Nintendo is supposedly only gonna ship 1 million units so hopefully they ramp up production after hearing this news.

Street date is November 21'st. I know my Gamestop will be getting them in on the 16'th. So if mine is getting them that early, chances are everybody will have them for the 21'st.

Honestly, when I first heard about the PSP's specs and price and this and that, I honestly thought they had a helluva shot at giving Nintendo a run for their money on this one.

But now the more I see news like this and think about it even deeper, I realise I might have overestamited Sony's chances. Ive come to the realization that the older PS2 crowd dont really care about handhelds. Even if they are based on the PS2. Simple as that. You hear so much talk about the PS2 and its games and more crap than I can think of at school, but you hear nothing of the PSP. Absolutley nothing. No hype whatsoever. Sure its a few months off, but you know if it was something like the PS3, people would allready be jumping.

It's funny. I should've made the decision to buy a DS sooner, because as soon as I made up my mind, it was too late to preorder a unit here.

Anyways, for me, it's a blessing to find it hard to find Nintendo stuff. It brings me back to the old days.
