Team/clan battles are the most fun I've had online, and I absolutely sucked at them. Been doing awesome on rumble pit and one-on-one matches, though.

But I noticed something weird today. My level was 6, I played two rounds of rumble pit and got 2nd place both times. My level went down to 3... what the hell is that about?

you might have switched game types... for instance, I am a 10 on Team Skirmish but a 3 on rumble pit... i dont play rumble pit, because for some reason, it lags hardcore on it...

Yeah I figured that out now, was kind of pissing me off earlier, especially when I appeared to go from 7 to 2...I knew something was up.

Double Weild mofo. The SMG is pure suckage by itself. Pick up a Plasma Rifle, or Pistol, and combine it with the SMG for excellent results.

And always strap a nade on your opponent if things are looking bad. If you see someone with an energy sword standing in front of you, don't hesitate to stick his ass with a nade. That way, if he kills you, you both loose.

I should be on late Sunday and can setup a clan for us. I'm missing a cable for my router so I keep having to switch between internet and Xbox live. It's annoying.

And what should I do to NOT suck at this game?

Um, to not suck, there are various things you can do to help. You can go into maps by yourself and just get a feel for them, know where all the good weapons are, best places for sniping and etc. Try to find a good dual wield combo, the SMG and the Pistol absolutely owns if used properly. Don't go for the sword or shotgun like every other person does, instead try to pick off the people who do go for them. Remember, people are stupid, no matter how many times they die instantly from trying to grab the sword, they'll still keep going back.

If you just plain suck at gun fights, grab a rifle of some kind and find some good spots to snipe. Also, don't forget that you can melee while holding guns. If someone is running at you shooting and they're all up in ya face, hit B and a few knocks will take them out.

And don't forget to take advantage of vehicles. When I get the banshee I'm usually unstoppable. Me and my boss from AG just took on an entire clan in Waterworks and only lost 100-89, me in the banshee and him sniping.

Basically just practise and sh*t.

I've been sick for the past couple days. CamFu do you really sound like that? You have the voice of a 17-year old.

My router sucks, it doesn't seem to be compatible with Xbox Live.

How about strafing in the opposite direction your opponent is while backing up. If he goes to his left, you go to your right. That way you should arc behind him and it up shooting his back.

I got a Berzerker (21 kills without dying) on rumble pit a week ago. Felt great. Oh and for all those Big Team Battles... well, the reason why my rank sucks on those is because 90% of the games I play, 1 or 2 of my teamates always quit. 8 on 6 really sucks.

Oh you mean level. I thought you were 11th place overall. That's cool man, but is Big Team Battle all you play? It says no games played for everything else.

The new team slayer is pretty awesome and team skirmish is cool too. Either way, add me if you want.

Oh and... the most annoying thing about Halo 2 (online) is kids over the headset... Please God, I'd rather take lag over hearing 10 year olds talking smack over the headset. :crazy:

I believe that you would have to pay for a new account if you want another gamertag. You'd still have your old one though and a name isnt really that important.

I swear man, I know exactly how you feel. A couple days ago I decided to start playing Head to Head and Team Skirmish. I haven't played those in a while. The first game I get into for both those game types, I get standbyed. It's ridiculous, I don't understand what's so special about a high level when you didn't even earn it.

And without exaggerating, I have got cheated at least 80 times in only Big Team battles. That's right, 80 times in one game type. Unbelievable... You guys don't even want to know how many times it's happened to me in Skirmish. :unsure:

I love Halo 2, it's the only game I ever play anymore. I don't play any other game out there, but this is just ****ed up!
