Has Nintendo or any 3rd party accessory company remotely even thought of releasing an accessory that plugs into both Mem Card Slots and allows up to 4 memory cards to be used instead of 2? I think it would be good since there will be a few games that will basically probably need 4 slots(only for multi play [duh!])

Not that I know of, but it seems like a good idea.

im not sure i see where the point of this would be...

to get more space? they'll come out wif bigger mem cards.

to get 4 players each having a mem card in? takes like 1 sec to unplug a mem card and plug another one in its place.

i surly wouldnt pay money for something like that which isnt needed.

For some reason... I doubt that it's coming out any time soon...

Nintendo can make more money selling 500kb cards for $15 each

True, but it's the principle of it. People these days don't wanna take that extra 1 or 2 seconds to switch cards. They want everything now.

Personally I don't really care. I've never been to a N64 party where more than 2 people had their memory cards with them.

I wouldn't buy it. Video games will surely have an option for that.

if there are four seprate Memory card slots, nobody will save the wrong data to the wrong card.... if there are two, and someone forgets to change, one of the four guys lost there data, right?

I know about this because it happend to me on an NHL game for N64... you can load teams from a memory card, but the card has to be put in slot #1... my friend accedently saved his team over my save file...

**** like that happens...

four slots is better than two

Here is what Nintendo said

Message(#6851-000042-2065\422065)

Hello,

Thanks for your great idea. We certainly appreciate your enthusiasm and support!

As you can probably guess, we receive tons of fantastic suggestions each month from our fans. While it would be great if we could use these ideas to develop actual products, we are unable to use or pass along any unsolicited ideas. Developing new products requires a large investment of both time and money, and our in-house developers work only on conversions of existing game titles and original product ideas.

At this time, we have not heard of any plans to produce a product
similar to what you described. However, you never know what the future may hold. Keep checking our website (www.nintendo.com) and future issues of Nintendo Power magazine for the latest information on current and upcoming Nintendo products.

Sincerely,

Nintendo of America Inc.

I guess they aren't in the process of making one at the time. Well, I'll email Interact and see if they are either making one or take my suggestion into consideration

my caring meant on replying to emails that people send to the companies.

My that was a crappy letter you got from Nintendo. It's like they take it right out of their manuals. It just sounds so impersonal.
