The untreatable disease also makes Ashlyn incapable of sensing extreme temperatures -- hot or cold -- disabling her body's ability to cool itself by sweating. Otherwise, her senses are normal.

Many things they couldn't anticipate. Ashlyn's baby teeth posed big problems. She would chew her lips bloody in her sleep, bite through her tongue while eating, and once even stuck a finger in her mouth and stripped flesh from it. AAAAAAAAAAAaaaah that poor girl!! Thinking about it hurts me... :(

Yes, I would say somethin about how that is cool and how she could fight crime except for one thing. She couldn't. She has as much a chance as fighting crime as us, maybe worse. Her body can still get hurt, she just can't feel it. Imagine if she was shot, we would immediately try to do something about it, she on the other hand would not know unless she saw it.
